Welcome to Osteopathy Louisa Pfirsching

About Me

As a naturopath, I run my own osteopathy practice and support my clients with care and respect.

During treatment, I take the time to thoroughly assess your situation and tailor my approach to your body’s current needs. My goal is to identify functional connections and support your body’s natural regulatory processes.

My practice is FLINTA* and queer-friendly. All bodies and identities are welcome. It is important to me that you feel safe, taken seriously, and respected.

I look forward to welcoming you to my practice!

What is osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy in which I work with my hands. The focus is on perceiving and addressing functional connections within the body.

In treatment, I view the person as a whole. I look for areas where mobility is restricted or where stress is unevenly distributed. The focus is on three closely interrelated areas:

  • The musculoskeletal system (bones, muscles, joints)

  • The internal organs and their connections

  • The craniosacral system (skull, spine, nervous system)

These areas are interconnected: changes in one area can manifest in others.

For me, osteopathy means providing you with a safe space where perception and body awareness take center stage.

Costs

Osteopathy is a service that patients must pay for out of pocket. You will initially cover the treatment costs yourself, but a (partial) reimbursement may be possible depending on your health insurance provider:

  • Public Health Insurance
Many providers contribute to the costs, usually upon presentation of a private prescription. It’s best to check directly with your health insurance provider or find out more here.

  • Private Health Insurance
Costs are generally reimbursed according to your individual plan.

Cost per Appointment
The cost ranges from 80 to 100 euros. Payment can be made via invoice.

If an invoice would be a burden for you or cause financial strain, please contact me in advance. Together, we will find a mutually supportive solution.

Cancellation of Appointments
Please cancel appointments at least 24 hours in advance. For last-minute cancellations or no-shows, I charge a cancellation fee of 50 euros.

Procedure

Duration of a session
A session lasts between 45 and 60 minutes.

Procedure
We’ll start by discussing your concerns. Then I’ll take the time to use my hands to sense where your body needs support, and I’ll help it regain its balance using gentle, hands-on techniques.

Frequency
How often treatments are recommended depends on your concerns and your body’s response. Some changes are noticeable quickly, while others take a little more time.

Practical Information
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a towel.
